βI love Bryan and all the members of 10th Planet Jacksonville. I saw the post of the two brothers giving out bad reviews. It is completely false I have been there twice one for when I was in town for a conference and the second time was for a seminar. Bryan is a great coach, host, and friend. He has great energy and he is a brother in Christ. Go to a class and check it out if you don't believe me.β
βSuch a great gym and an even better Owner/Coach. Bryan has come to our gym and taught seminars, and as a lower level blue belt, I learned and retained so much information. He broke it down into simple terms and met me where I was knowledge wise. Anyone around the Jacksonville area that wants to learn bjj should definitely become apart of this team!β
βAs a woman & complete beginner with no experience to Jiu Jitsu, I was nervous about trying it and didnβt know where to start. I didnβt know what to expect. I just knew that I wanted/needed to equip myself with skills/knowledge of self defense. There is a wide offering of classes (Jiu Jitsu, Rubber Guard, Striking, MMA) at various times that can work with almost any schedule. The instructors are very thorough with explanations & demonstration of technique. I also find them very patient and responsive when it comes to answering questions. Most importantly (in my opinion), they are straight forward. They help you to understand that while this is a sport, itβs a combat sport and itβs serious. There is always discussion around minimizing the risk of injury/perfecting technique. The upper belts are always helpful and willing to lend a hand. When it comes to rolling/sparring with lower belts, they have always been considerate and honest with feedback. The culture, diversity, and cameraderie here isnβt something you find everywhere. It helps to train in an environment that feels welcoming and safe. Jiu Jitsu isnβt something simple that you can learn overnight; however the environment you train in will be a huge factor in whether youβre successful. I have no regrets about joining the 10P familyπͺπΎβ
βI had a wild time here. I walked in and some freak specimen of a man was shadow boxing. Looking around I felt a very raw energy about the place. I could feel the sacrifices made on their mats. The efforts to find greatness. On that night, I met coach Bryan and some of his team. And on that night I was made vastly aware of the levels to this game we play. Everyone was extremely skilled and very welcoming!β
βAmazing gym, with a great atmosphere. Felt welcomed the second I walked in. Detailed instructions and help with the drilling. Great rolls. Had the honor of rolling with professor Bryan. I will come back the next time I am in town. Thanks yβall !β
