“I've only been to a few martial arts gyms, BJJ and otherwise, but this gym, hands down, has the best community I've ever seen in a gym. The atmosphere is not intimidating or threatening, There is no "gym bro"/jock atmosphere, and everyone is extremely supportive, students included. The instructors have decades of experience in grappling, and are completely approachable and willing to personally help you, 100 percent of the time. I've personally had a few years of intermittent BJJ training, all Gracie-based, and I've largely been impressed at the quality of instruction I've received here. Where 10th Planet really shines in comparison to the Gracie schools is that it's absolutely not afraid to teach standup and takedowns, and it's more well-rounded as a result. The mix of content: No-Gi BJJ, Wrestling, and No-Gi Judo, complement each other very well and there is always something new to learn.”
