He absolutely loves coming here, and it’s easy to see why—the instructors are not only incredible at teaching Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu but also fantastic role models. They focus on building self-discipline, confidence, and practical anti-bullying techniques in a way that kids truly enjoy. I also love the family-friendly environment. While the adults are practicing, the kids are off the mats, having fun together in the lobby. It’s great to see them laughing, building friendships, and enjoying their time in a safe space. This gym creates a positive atmosphere where families feel welcome, and it’s rewarding to see both personal growth and a strong sense of community here. Highly recommend 316 for anyone looking to train in BJJ while fostering values like respect, resilience, and connection!”

“A little over 4 years ago I took a trial class at the 316BJJ in Rockwall. Since the Brazilian Jiujitsu, but even more so this gym/family has changed my life. I have become both Physical and Mentally tougher, and able to accomplish goals in my life that I didn’t think I ever could have. I could go on and on over the benefits of jiujitsu, but over it all this gym stands out, because of the community. We are a family that takes care of each other in a way that is rare in today’s world. I believe this is why they opened one in Greenville, because they have the winning formula and can expand. I’ve been out to Greenville and it’s hard to find a men as caring and knowledgeable as Coach Rafa and Mark.”
