“I’ve been training here since mid-Feb, back when it was Bushido, and I already knew from the start that this place was different. Now rebranded as Abdias BJJ, the spirit of the gym remains the same, strong, grounded, and full of heart. What brought me here initially was my daughter, she’s a student here, and after seeing how much she was growing in confidence, discipline, and joy, I decided to join too. I had never trained in BJJ before, but the moment I stepped in, I felt welcomed like family. This isn’t just a gym. It’s a community. The culture here is family-oriented, respectful, and deeply supportive. Whether you’re a total beginner (like me :) or more experienced, the coaches Neto and Senior Carlos + members meet you with patience, encouragement, and real knowledge. You’re never made to feel out of place. You’re seen. You’re guided. And you’re celebrated. This gym it’s a place where both kids and adults can grow, not just in skill, but in mindset, discipline, and confidence.”
