“It has been over a year since we found our home here at Academy of Champions with Professor Antonio and Professor Mari. As a Black Belt, it is a unique situation coming into a new school and feeling like it is a fit. Both have made me and my family feel as if we have always been here. In this past year, I have learned so much and greatly appreciate the opportunities I have to also teach classes. I'm passionate about being able to give back to Jiu Jitsu. “After a 3 year lay-off I was looking for a gym to start back with that had a noon class. I was Invited to an older jujitsu roller group on Sunday evenings with an old sparring partner. I immediately felt welcome and knew I had a new training home. Professors Antonio and Jerome are excellent teachers and walk the walk. Their offerings are enjoyable for all levels. We even enrolled our boys in Professor Mari’s kids class. She has so much patience it’s incredible to watch her teach technique with all the chaos going around her.
