“Professors Antonio and Mari are amazing people and have created a great culture at their academy. We attended a seminar before we even signed up and they were very welcoming. We were looking for a gym that had quality instruction and a family vibe. We found that at Academy of Champions. I love how involved they are in the Jiu Jitsu community. They referee at competitions and hold seminars. Professor Antonio is an active competitor, so he is supportive of my own competition goals. “It has been over a year since we found our home here at Academy of Champions with Professor Antonio and Professor Mari. As a Black Belt, it is a unique situation coming into a new school and feeling like it is a fit. Both have made me and my family feel as if we have always been here. In this past year, I have learned so much and greatly appreciate the opportunities I have to also teach classes. I'm passionate about being able to give back to Jiu Jitsu. They have created a great family-friendly environment, awesome instruction from 2 IBJJF trained referees, as well as competitors. From the kids' program to the adults, there is something for everyone. No matter what your personal goals are the Professor's and Students are all trying to help each other attain them. “Professor Antonio was recommended to me by a trusted friend who noted his teaching style was exceptional. Going in to my first class I was expecting high level instruction but what I didn’t expect was how warm and welcoming the gym was. Professors Mari and Antonio made me feel like a part of a family right away and after one trial class I had made up my mind to train there. The culture of the gym is fantastic, the people I’ve met are also welcoming and friendly, and as a bonus I get amazing Jiu Jitsu instruction. I couldn’t be happier with my choice to be a part of this gym.”
