“Very informative and always there to answer your questions! Two great coaches in my opinion, one with a heavy wrestling background and the other with a heavy Jujitsu background. Both cross-trained, have done competitions, and have other self defense knowledge.”

“Great technical and thorough break downs of modern jiu jitsu as well as fantastic competition coaching/game-planning. Gym atmosphere is inviting and promotes growth. Andrew and rainger are very knowledgeable as well and help to create a positive gym culture”

“Man where do I begin. I started training at kick it and agoge about 6-7 months ago. I couldn't tell you in enough words on how fast I excelled cause of their way of teaching and guiding. Andrew the jiu-jitsu coach is an impeccable teacher and any one that wants to learn jiu-jitsu, I highly encourage and recommend coming to agoge and get training from him. His step by step guiding couldn't be any more on point. He sets the tone or pace for rolls, positional rolls or anything else so you don't have to be afraid of getting hurt or someone going 100% on you while your going slow trying to learn. If I wouldn't of found agoge and kick it at the time I did, I probably wouldn't be in it thats how much I felt discouraged from recent places I've trained. Prices are incredibly reasonable and completely worth it in every possible way. The agoge team is full of amazing people to train with, they both have the respect for you and the sport. Come train at agoge. I promise you, you won't regret a single minute. In just 7 months they became my family that's how much this place and the people inside it mean to me.”

“Okay, so full disclosure, one of the coaches here is my Dad. Nonetheless, I'm really glad I started training here because it's really easy to learn a lot here without getting hurt, which I think is really important for something like jiu jitsu. I also like the quality of coaching here, I always learn something new everyday. There's also a lot of good people to spar with, and plenty of classes to go to, and overall just a nice place to be. Would recommend.”

“Even though my Dad is one of my coaches, not being biased, learning how to defend yourself really helps you have more confidence in yourself and helps you stand up to people. For example, I was at a camp and a 15-16 year old (I'm 13) tried to steal from me so I took him down and pinned him, then took his back and held him there until he stopped trying to take my money. So I think it is great to learn.”
