“Jiujitsu Summer vacation in Maine. Thanks Team 1! When my son was young, Summer vacations were in Maine with the family. I was looking for activities for my middle school son and I came across jiujitsu martial art. I enrolled my son to Team 1 BJJ classes. At first, my son was a little shy and very uncoordinated, but the teachers and other students made him feel very comfortable. As he learned the moves, not only my son's coordination improved, but I also noticed that his concentration and confidence improved. The coaches are very patient and the team made us feel like a family. Training offered at Team 1 was safe and taught my son more than just a martial art. My son did not become a jiujitsu "martial artist" but I believe that those lessons learned from jiujitsu skills and Team 1 BJJ, helped my son with many skills. We will never forget Summers rolling on the tatami with Team 1 BJJ.”
