“I met Professor Julio when I first moved to Utah. I needed a new home to train. Julio welcomed me with open arms and has been my instructor now a little over 3 years. His caring personality is what told me I am home away from home. I was promoted to black belt under professor Julio in 2024. I was his first US student to be promoted to black belt and first female black belt to be promoted under him. He is awesome with the kids. He will teach them integrity and help them grow into strong individuals. He is a gentle giant and very professional. Professor Julio is a great friend outside the mats. We are lucky to have a great person in our lives.”
