“Alliance JiuJitsu is without a doubt the best martial arts school in the local area. Owner Austin is an absolutely incredible coach. If you want your child to have well rounded teaching, learn proper basics, refine his technique and gain valuable self defense and discipline skills in a safe and violence free environment then this is the place for you. The staff are all very friendly, the facilities are clean and well appointed. Austin has patience and is kind, yet demands respect and retains control of his classes which is no mean feat in a class full of kids. He demonstrates everything he expects the children to do, explains it and why it is used, then helps them master it. We are so grateful to have found them! Every lesson we are more grateful for the patience and care that are obvious in Austin’s teaching. His lovely wife Erina is always kind and helpful. She assists in classes and is also great with the kids. Having tried other places this school remains unmatched for teaching, professionalism, instruction and care. I travel for work, and my job finally brought me close enough to visit so I could once again train with him after he came to Huntsville to open his academy. “Came here to visit recently. First off they were so fast to answer all my questions. I asked a question on the website and got an almost immediate response. Erina, was kind and welcoming before I stepped foot in the academy. When I arrived the place looked amazing. The mat space is huge, and the mats were very clean. There is plenty of space around the mats to sit for parents. Once class started professor Austin (aka Carlos) #insidejoke was extremely welcoming. He taught a great class and even helped me with something I was personally getting stuck on. The students also welcomed me warmly with lots of arm bars and chokes. Lots of respect across the board. My experience there was more than a 5 star experience. I encourage you to check it out when in the Alabama area! I know I will be back for sure. I have found my home gym away from home.”
