From day one, I made it clear to the instructors that I believe in promotions based on merit and production, not participation. I asked them to push my kids within reason, and they have honored that request completely. The instructors challenge my kids while keeping it fun, creating an environment where they can grow, fail, learn, and improve. “Our experience with Ares BJJ has been incredible! Our daughter started going to Jiu Jitsu a year ago when she was 6 years old. She started in their Tiny Titans program for 4 - 6 year old students and has progressed to the Titans for 7-11 year old students. The instructors are very kind and knowledgeable, and help each student learn the different techniques. It is clear that they care about all students at all levels. Ares is also a great environment with nice students and families who help families that are new to the sport learn the basics. Having a daughter, it's great that about half the instructors and students are female. My daughter has been encouraged all along the way, and we appreciate all the support she has been given.
