“This is by far the best school in our area for self defense! The teachers are fantastic and the other students were all very nice. What sets this school apart from other schools in the area is they are very focused on practical and functional self defense. Most classes start with a real life scenario and how to respond in those situations such as someone sneaking up behind you and bear hugging you or putting you in a headlock. They teach you how to not get punched in the face! This is the first jujitsu school I’ve experienced that actually focuses on not getting punched in the face! It was also nice that they don’t charge someone for their first class and they didn’t pressure me to sign up. But I did anyways!”
