“I’ve been a regular (adult) student for about 4 months so far. AJJC and Eric create a very welcoming space for new students of BJJ. It’s a non-intimidating space where everyone is there to grow and support each other. I’ve grown in my confidence on the mat and fitness, and seen some of that show up in my life in positive ways outside of class too. Class sizes are small so you get to know each other better and have very personalized instruction. Eric also reminds us to take care of ourselves–at times when we’re a little too excited or hardheaded and should be making sure we rest to take care of ourselves for our longevity.
