“My son has been training here since day 1. Wes,Sophee and the other coaches always make people feel welcome and very much a family atmosphere. Jiu Jitzu and Wrestling for every age and skill level. Clinics, open mats and Competition Wrestling Team. Wrestling has produced/trained multiple State Champions, All Americans, World Team Members and the facility Is safe, clean and very roomy. I highly recommend it to everyone.”

“Update on May 2025: Dropped in again to train twice on a recent trip. Super easy, Wes and the crew were super welcoming. Great technique teaching, and when I went back for the open mat everyone was very nice and great to roll with. I'm a purple belt, but the blue belts worked me over. Great gym, looking forward to a future visit. 2024: Dropped in for an open mat on Christmas Eve. Wes, Sophie, and the other grapplers were very friendly and got plenty of great, tough rolls. There were two black belts, three purple belts, and three blue belts present. Everyone rolled in the Gi. I look forward to visiting again on a future trip to the Panama City area. Thank you, Black Sheep Jiu-Jitsu for the hospitality!”

“I wish I had a 6th star to give! Could not have found a better gym. The teaching is high level and detailed. Coach Wes is extremely knowledgeable and actively works with every student. The other students are welcoming! The environment is great! Any single class I’ve learned more than MONTHS at other gyms. Definite must attend!”

“Great gym to learn jiujitsu and wrestling. We absolutely love this gym. My entire family attends and trains. Very family oriented. Professor Wes is very professional and you can tell he has a love for jiujitsu and wrestling. Coach Sophie is great and patient with the kiddos. All the coaches that help out with the kids class show a great amount of patience and care... I couldn't ask for a more knowledgeable and caring gym for my family.”
