“I loved my experience at Blue Wave! When I go on a work trip I usually reach out to the school's contact e-mail to see if I could drop in and usually get a 'sure come whenever' message and when I arrive, no one has any clue about any messages. Professor Jimmy not only responded quickly but personally-which is a rarity. Unfortunately, he wouldn't be teaching the class I was able to make but he let the instructor teaching know I'd be there. It's hard walking into a new place, even harder when everyone else knows each other so I was pleasantly surprised when Coach Dasha, called me by name, set me up with a waiver form and even let me use a school's uniform. They're just as technical as they are friendly and I liked that the warm up was related to what we were learning. I was lucky enough to get partnered with one of their resident black belts who not only had some moves but was willing to help me learn what he did. Super welcoming, loved the class structure and everyone there rolled hard but were still so easygoing.”

“I recently moved to the area and am so glad I found Blue Wave! After trying a few different places in the area, I didn't have to think hard about which I wanted to join. The instructors and students have all be very welcoming, and they made my transition to a new place as smooth as it could be. One of my favorite things about Blue Wave is the variety of classes and instructors. There are classes for adults seven days a week, and at different times of the day, so I can always make something work with my schedule. The instructors are all excellent, so you can't go wrong in choosing which times to train. There are classes specific to both gi and no-gi training, and there are classes tailored to the basics as well as more competition-focused classes. The level of instruction, competition, and support is all exceptional. I wish I could give it more than 5 stars!”
