“This place is awesome and the people who run it are equally amazing. All of the instructors under coach Melvin are well versed and eager to teach. I have 3 children attending classes nightly. My 5-year-old loves his coaches and stays to hang around for the older kids (6-12) and adult (12+) classes. Coach is extremely attentive with each of his young students and every day I find myself impressed by his level of patience. My 9-year-old also attends, and she can't get enough. She's going to be a formidable force by the time she's 10 and we're thrilled to know that this level of training will be a form of defense she will carry through her teens and as an adult. My 16-year-old son has taken a strong liking to the adult class, that my wife and I attend as well, and he's already competition ready... Coach Melvin has taken his time teaching him and always entertains, and answers, his many inquisitions. I can truly say that WHBJJ has planted a seed that is sowing a strong bond within our family! Coach Melvin Thompson and his wife Alicia Thompson run a great facility that is catered to ages 4 - adulthood. I, along with 2 of my kids (6 and 7), train at this top notch facility.
