The physical activity is great but what I'm most impressed by is how much he is learning about personal responsibility, character development, and working towards a goal over a long time. He now does simple chores at home bc they talk about it at jiu jitsu!”

“Great intro deal for those intimidated by BJJ. They have the formula down on how to entice the little ones especially with their stripe rewarding system. Everything from the 1:1 private intro class to the group classes where there’s always at least two assistants to every teacher. Everyone is made sure to feel welcomed but also able to do the drills. They do set some high expectations to kiddos who are set to advance but I think that’s necessary for the discipline. There is discipline in the class but lots of fun goofy drills built in for the kids as well. They also hosted a great monthly women’s self defense course. I love the community it’s built here in our neighborhood and will continue to come here to support for as long as we can!”

“A great place to start or continue your training! I was a little nervous at first, being I haven't tried any martial arts in a few years, and I was feeling out of shape...reccomended by a friend, a great deal picked up off of Groupon: it was a blast from the start! A very accomidating schedule with many times and availabilities too. The staff and fellow enthusiasts immediately made it feel like a welcome and open environment to train. Any questions or thoughts were answered quickly and with a feeling that they truly loved the art and what they do. Each session I attended was another chance to join and feel a part of something. I can't remember one time I went there not feeling accomplished, motivated or not wanting to attend again, I felt that rush! I highly recommend this place and am thankful for the experience!
