“Excellent atmosphere and coaching. Professor Layton is a true professional and teacher. I’ve had plenty of instruction in different fields throughout my life, however, Layton is the best coach I’ve ever had. Not only do I train here, my children do as well. I highly recommend anyone to try out this gym, you won’t regret it!!!!”

It has a family environment with all experience levels of men, women, boys and girls. Me and both of my sons have had a great time and have learned something every time we walk in the door!”

“Layton and his team are excellent. I’ve been training BJJ for 3 years now and drop in his gym once a month to train. His classes are well organized and everyone is very welcoming. Layton is the real deal in BJJ and gives top notch instruction. If you’re in his area and looking for a gym to join this is definitely the place.”

“I’m only giving it 5 stars because that’s all it would allow. I’d give 10 or more if I could. If you’re interested in Jiu Jitsu, come here. Even if you’re not in Cherokee, it’s worth the drive. Every single person I’ve met here is incredibly kind and welcoming. I was worried being a new guy not knowing anything that the more experienced guys wouldn’t want to train with me much because I’d hold them back. I found the exact opposite! Everyone here remembers being brand new like me and are so helpful and patient. Professor Layton, and all of the coaches I’ve met, are incredibly welcoming. They make you feel comfortable the second you walk in the door. This is such a great environment to train in. Get your kids in there too. I’ve been able to watch some of the kids classes and they do a great job. Seriously, get in here and try it out, you won’t be disappointed. It’s not every day that you can get an incredible workout while learning something that can literally save your life or your family’s I can’t wait for my next class and I can’t recommend Cherokee Fight Sports enough!”
