“I’ve studied martial arts for roughly 30 years and have seen a lot of what’s out there in terms of good/bad schools. My experience here has been one of the best. I’m a new BJJ student; about 3-months in. My son also takes the kids classes...and I only have positive things to say. Cesar is everything a martial arts teacher should be - skilled, knowledgeable, hands-on, strict when needed, respectful…. all with a great sense of humor. And each student I’ve met, no matter their rank reflects that same mentality. As someone who’s brand new to BJJ, things can be a little intimidating, especially at my older age. But Cesar and other students patiently work [with everyone] through the learning process. Same applies to the kids’ classes. That said, the classes are tough. Controlled and safe, but tough – as they should be. So if you train here, expect a workout! As far as the facility itself goes, it’s a great space. Clean, spacious, very well-run. Very easy to get to with plenty of parking. 5 stars all the way!”
