“Zero Stars. WARNING - Do not give Travis or any staff member at Central Maine BJJ your credit/debit card information!!! My two nephews attended classes at Central Maine BJJ for two months starting in late July, early August of this year. They stopped attending class once school started due to conflicts with their soccer scheduled. Travis was notified that the boys would not be returning to class on 3 September, but I was still charged for a full month of membership for September, and again in October. I attempted to call Travis multiple times and he would not answer. I text him asking why I was charged after the boys had stopped attending class and he responded he has a two month cancellation policy that was never disclosed to me. I request a copy of his two month cancellation policy and he ignored me. I informed him that I was going to report October's charges as fraudulent and report him to Maine's Better Business Bureau. Again, he did not respond. American Express refunded my money, so Travis sent the bill to a collection agency for payment. I attempted to call Travis again and still no answer. I would avoid doing business with Travis at all cost!”

“Amazing place for BJJ, No Gi, Muay Thai, and MMA. Leadership prioritizes smart, safe, effective training. The culture is welcoming to all levels. If you're a beginner, this is a great place to start. They're also constantly working to learn more, do things better, more effectively. If you've been around the sport for a while, you'll be pushed to be better. Classes for kids too, and those are excellent. Definitely recommend this school.”

“DO NOT FOR ANY REASON GIVE YOUR CREDIT OR DEBIT CARD INFORMATION TO TRAVIS (THE OWNER) I WAS WRONGFULLY CHARGED FOR 2 MONTHS OF SERVICE AND HAVEN'T GOTTEN A REFUND FOR THE 2 MONTHS CURRENTLY SPOKE WITH 2 DIFFERENT ATTORNEYS 1 ADVISED HE CAN HELP ME WITH A SMALL CLAIM THE OTHER SAID I HAVE A STRONG CASE TO SUE THE GYM ANYWHERE BETWEEN 2K TO 5K I HAVEN'T DECIDED WHICH ROUTE TO GO JUST YET BUT HE WILL NOT HELP YOU GET YOUR MONEY BACK WHICH IS TECHNICALLY THEFT USE A PREPAID CARD IF YOU GET SCAMMED INTO JOINING THE GYM”
