“I've trained there for about 3 years now. I used to live in concord, and this was the closest gym for jiu-jitsu. On top of that, it's Cesar Gracie, so you know it's legit. Of course, when I first started, I was a bit nervous about how the guys would treat me. But that quickly went away as everyone was very nice and supportive - always happy to show you a move or give advice to get better. I've moved to Fairfield, so now the gym is a bit out of the way, but it's my home now and the only place I want to train. I really appreciate the coaches and my training partners. Guga runs the adult classes and he is top-notch. He's very calm and knowledgeable and just a very good guy to learn from. He still competes and is a champion in an organization called fight 2 win. I got to see him win the belt, which was fun. Cam runs the kids classes. I don't think there is anyone better to coach kids than him. He is hilarious and knows how to talk to kids to motivate them to be better. I know I wrote a lot. So I'll finish with something simple. If you or your kids want to be in better shape, like a challenge, and want to know you can defend yourself if something goes down, this is the place you need to be.”
