“This is an awesome place. My daughter has been studying jiu jitsu under coach Chris for almost two years now. The coach and the assistant coaches are awesome. They are incredibly friendly with kids and at the same time instill some discipline as well. They provide personal attention to kids and they talk to kids, motivating them and keeping it playful at the same time.”

“Both our kids (with wildly different personalities and attention spans) love it! Can't wait for our youngest to be old enough to join. Kids don't just learn jiu jitsu, they learn about body control, respect, friendship, discipline and so many other important things. The coaches are awesome and the environment is safe, welcoming, and family friendly. Adult classes are top notch too.”

“My kids started with coach Chris in Tracy more than 2 years ago and we were very excited when we found out that he opened his own academy. He is an amazing teacher and he truly has a gift to work with kids - and not only. My husband started jiu jitsu with him and he is in the best shape of his life. We came to Fremont couple times now to train with Chris and we love his new location. Introducing BJJ to our family was one of the best things we've done. We totally recommend it!”

“My daughter LOVES Fremont Gracie Jiu Jitsu. We started April 2018 and a couple months in, we went from twice a week lessons to 3 times a week. She dropped gymnastics and dance classes to make these jiu jitsu classes. We ADORE Coach Chris. He is amazing with all the kids. Part coach, part cheerleader, and always super patient and enthusistic. We are really happy we found Fremont Gracie Jiu Jitsu!! The class times are very convenient and there are multiple options - you are not locked into any particular days.”
