“In looking for a martial art for our 7 & 8 year olds, can't go far without hearing of BJJ (Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu). Not far from our house, we decided to check out Checkmat. Conveniently located with good class hours, on the average price range, BUT we ultimately could not choose it as there was a lack of discipline. The kids were allowed to run all over, sometimes allowed and sometimes when the teacher was asking the kids to be quiet. If there was respect demanded as good with a martial art, we would've considered staying. As such, could only give 3 stars.”
