Spent almost 2 years with Professor Josh and Juan while working in Pueblo. My home school was in Denver, but Childress BJJ has become like a second home school for me. Professor Josh and Juan are amazing instructors and have been exceptionally welcoming to me even though I was just visiting. I would encourage anyone to try out Childress BJJ. Thank you for everything!

I was traveling through and stopped in for a class and came back to roll. Kids class was going on before the adults and they looked to have a good sized group of about 15 kids all having fun. The adult class was similarly sized. Good warm up and technical instruction for about and hour and a half. Coach Juan is a technical purple belt and a good communicator. Wednesday and Saturday are rolling. $20 drop in fee. Large facility, lots of mat space, locker rooms and rap music. I'll be back anytime I'm in the Pueblo area.

Stopped by from out of town and had a great time at this gym. The coaches are knowledgeable and competitive. It was very welcoming, thank you for allowing me to stop by.

Children's dojo is a great place. This dojo has a good coach to student ratio. There are usually 3 coaches during the kid classes. This allows for kids to get sufficient one on one training. Every coach on the mat also has incredible patients and is willing to put in the extra time with struggling students.

The coaches and school, are amazing. This is by far the best thing we’ve ever got our 10 year old son into. It’s far more than “just a jujitsu academy.” The mentoring for the kids is top notch, this goes for on, and off the mat! I’d like to send a special thank you to all of the staff. They put an immense amount of dedication, time, and thought, into molding the next generation of young adults. Thank you guys for all you do!
