“We came here specifically for the Judo week and a half long camp because this place is awesome. Now these guys stew Judo jujitsu and overall fitness and exercise so it’s more than just a martial arts gym. But make no mistake it is one of the most awesome martial arts gyms around. Just out of the girls this place has the number two and number for ranked in the nation top female judo players that my kids got to go against today. Also helping teach this camp is going to be a Judo AlterNet for the Olympic games which is awesome. The owner of this Jim Paul Jordan is one of the most down to earth realistic great people walking the planet. Just sitting in there for 15 minutes watching part of the camp at the end of the day I got to see beautiful foot sweeps and wonderful throws. If you are in the northern Ohio region you should definitely do yourself a favor and check out this facility it is top notch”

“Our boys have been attending for a few seasons now and really enjoy learning judo. It’s been super helpful for our oldest- a great confidence builder and excellent athletic conditioning. Paul is a very patient Sensei and a truly gifted teacher.”

“A great place for kids to come exercise; learn discipline, respect, and self-defense; and make friends. There are several opportunities to attend during the week--whether for 1-hour classes, fight night (1-1/2 hours), youth judoku (1 hour), competitions, or pizza/Nerf night fundraiser (1-1/2 hours and $25 extra). Sensei Paul is very good with the kids, especially if they are having a rough time, and he makes the exercises fun. I am amazed at how he can remember everyone's name! Uniforms cost $50 to $75, the monthly fee is $125.00, and there is an extra fee each time you compete in a tournament. Considering you are allowed to come up to 4 times a week (once you learn the basics), it is well worth the money. Parking can be a little difficult to find, especially if you arrive late. There is no air conditioning in the summer, but the doors are open, and there are usually two industrial fans blowing. You will find plenty of chairs for adults to sit in. Restrooms are available.”

“Sensei Paul cares deeply about the character development of his judo players. Yes, he wants them to perform to their potential physically, but first and foremost is character.”

“Focus, respect, discipline and confidence. These are the core values that are being taught first and foremost in my son’s judo class. Sensei Paul and his team of teachers have experience and passion that they’re passing on to our children. We absolutely love Chu To Bu Brasa.”
