Conejo Valley Brazilian Jiu Jitsu has played a pivotal role in the development and my three children's skills and passion for Brazilian Jiu Jitsu these past 5 years. It is an inclusive and safe environment. The sense of community here. The camaraderie among students and the supportive network of families create a welcoming and encouraging environment. This sense of belonging has been instrumental in sustaining my children's enthusiasm and commitment to the discipline over the years. For parents seeking an environment where their children can learn, grow, and flourish, I recommend Conejo Valley Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

I’ve been attending for two years. Conejo Valley Brazilian Jiu Jitsu offers a top-notch training experience. The instructors are knowledgeable and create a supportive learning environment. Classes cater to all skill levels, and the sense of community among members is commendable. The facility is clean and well-equipped, enhancing the overall training atmosphere. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced practitioner, Conejo Valley BJJ is a great place to refine your skills and immerse yourself in the world of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

So this gym is special. It's the type of gym where people become family. Whenever you are looking for a BJJ gym, you usually follow the same checklist: Is it clean? Are the coaches good? Are the students good? Is there a good range of belts (not just white belts and beginners)? Without a doubt, CVBJJ is a "yes" to all of these questions. There is another question that is arguably the most important and impossible to answer unless you do some time at a gym and that is: how is the culture? I can tell you the culture of this gym is what makes it special. I live abroad and come maybe once a year to visit family. Last year I walked into the gym (back when it was in Agoura) and they treated me like I was an old friend. They let me roll with them and attend classes and it was a memorable experience. Fast forward a year later, I came with my girlfriend on a trip to the US and we both wanted to get some rolls in. Of course, without hesitation, I suggested that we stop by CVBJJ and see if they would let us roll with them. Not only did they welcome us with open arms but they even remembered my name and where I was from. My girlfriend loved the vibe of this gym, it was super clean, and of course, the quality of jiu-jitsu was top-notch. If you are in the area you must sign up at this gym!

I have a busy schedule (like so many others) and I generally can’t make the typical evening or mid day jiu-Jitsu class. I saw that CVBJJ had an early (5:30am) class so I gave them a shot. I’ve trained at a lot of different academies over the years. The best place I had previously trained was when I was living up north. CVBJJ ranks up there with that place, it’s the best academy I’ve found here locally. The instruction is top notch and all the guys I’ve trained with are humble, helpful and cool. Some schools you have to worry about getting hurt by some guy trying to make you tap to assert their dominance, not at CVBJJ. If you’re new to BJJ or just looking for a new school I highly recommend coming to check out CVBJJ.

I visited Conejo Valley BJJ (I train in Miami) and they were incredibly hospitable. Made me feel so at home and welcome. I had a great time learning from both profs. Wilton and Emerson. Both were friendly, detailed and clear in their teaching and explaining technique. Their students are also super cool people, gave me tips on where to go and what places to check out. I cannot begin to say how much that meant to me. I was really looking forward to training with them and I'm so happy I did. These guys have something special going on in their academy!
