“I’ve been a part of control for over two years and will have to stop due to moving. For someone who had no coordination and athleticism I was able to develop both at my own pace. Coach Wade and the other instructors are true professionals who will teach you what they know as well as prove themselves on the mat as well. Don’t expect to learn impractical skills because you aren’t gonna waste your time here with that. The coaches, as well as the people who train here won’t bully you and show off, they will give you opportunities to learn and develop you, you will not find a better gym for any level of skill whether you are experienced or brand new, whether you are young or old. I am grateful for the opportunity I had to train here and learn from the years of hard work that the coaches have went through on the mats that translated into instruction. My time there had taught me many skills as well as instilling confidence in myself. Going to Control introduced me to a great community of people who were always helpful and welcoming. I truly believe that everyone who attends is valued and brings something to the team. You will learn how to improve every day you get on the mats here.”

“A very supportive and inviting community for everyone! Even though it might be intimidating, they were so eager to teach and help anyone who is interested in jiujitsu. I highly encourage everyone to try at least once at this gym if you are even slightly interest! Wade also helps you find other gyms if you ever move out of the area. “World class facility. I was visiting from out of town but I wish I lived closer so I could train here more frequently. Clean, expansive training floor that includes weights, Muay Thai bags, a boxing ring, and the biggest BJJ mat I’ve ever trained on.”
