“My son was showing some aggressive behaviors at school so we decided to try Corsicana Jiu Jitsu to see if we could channel some of that energy and it was one of the best decisions I have ever made. Coach Isiah and his team are excellent teachers and have the patience of saints. Not only has my son learned the art of Jiu Jitsu but he has also learned respect, discipline and has become a leader himself, helping other kids that come to the gym. What started as an outlet for my son has become a family event as my wife and I thoroughly enjoy watching him practice and my son has found something he loves and has not only been competing in competitions, but winning!! “We were referred by our friend Afton ! Our 11 yr old son has been attending Corsicana Jijitsu classes for 8 months, he gets private lessons, and attends additional classes. Coach Isiah, Alex, Natalie, and Carlos are UHMAZING!!! We enrolled our son to teach him more about being confident and be able to defend himself against bullies . He’s competed in 4 competitions so far and we’re proud to know that he’s achieved 1st place status in the state of Texas and #2 in the country for is belt class and weight class.
