Explore Jiu Jitsu Techniques“I was an out of town visitor to the gym. I felt welcome, and I got in a lot of hard rolls in. Given the location, most were stronger than I; however, they were for the most part gentle and respected the tap. No one slammed any submission on while I was visiting. Everyone I rolled with knew what they were doing and focused on just good Jiu-jitsu. One downside is the fact that it is easy to miss the turn; however, I do not judge a gym based ease of access. You just have to pay attention. I do highly recommend the open mat time, and I do plan to be back the next time I'm in town. Thank you for helping me work off the turkey dinner, went after Thanksgiving.”
“Started at Crest in 2021. Strong family atmostphere, great training for all belt levels. LOTS of women training. Female led ladies program.”
“I started at Crest part time as a way to cross train for running. I was an avid runner training for my 6th 50 mile race when I started BJJ. After the first class I knew I loved it. After I finished that race I pretty much stopped running so that I could focus my energy on Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. The people at Crest were so amazing. You get high level coaching from the staff, but the more experienced grapplers are more than willing to help you during the rolls as well. They have developed a group of people that are all genuinely invested in seeing everyone in the room get better. My 7 y/o daughter has been attending classes now for over a year and she loves it as well. Their children's program is top notch as evidenced by the hardware they bring home from every competition they go to. If you're not into competing though they do not pressure you to do so. I truly recommend BJJ for the whole body workout you'll get. I recommend Crest for the excellent atmosphere and attention to detail that you'll get.”
“Crest BJJ is great for the whole family! My son started training almost 2 years ago and almost immediately we noticed an increase in his confidence, coordination, and discipline, which had positive impacts in other sports and in school. Once he started taking me down in our living room, I decided to start training at Crest. It's an intense workout! The coaches are amazing, the desire to improve keeps me motivated to train, and multiple classes makes it easy to fit into my schedule. My wife has taken a few of the woman's self defense classes and loved it as well. Highly recommend training here!”
“TLDR: sick gym, legit instruction, friendly safe place to train. 5 stars would recommend and return. I took a 5:45am gi class on a Friday. There were almost 30 guys on the mat with all belts represented. The head coach Tyler Boone taught a great class and everyone I rolled with rolled hard but not crazy. Super clean, safe and friendly environment full of high level guys who will sweep you, pass your guard, and sub you, but nobody is looking to injure anyone and I didn’t see any crazy egos. I had an awesome experience and will be back. Thanks Tyler Boone! Osssss!!”
