“Dark Matter JJ is great, Korey is an awesome instructor and the whole school is kind, accepting and honestly fun to be around. Any time I take a day off I’m dying to get back. I love how Korey teaches in blocks- ie: “the next few weeks are single x guard..” what to do from both positions. I really like how I am able to improve my confidence in the spot before we move onto the next one. As a beginner it’s “simple” to follow along. I’ve experienced other instructors and I definitely prefer how Dark Matter JJ teaches. I’ve learned so much! Our comp training and comp team experience is one of a kind. If it’s something you are looking for the process helps you feel ready and allows you to be successful! They also offer education bimonthly about keeping joints and areas of your body healthy which is unlike any other school. It’s a cool benefit !”

“Look no further if you want to learn BJJ! Everyone is very welcoming and makes it a fun place to train at. Coach Korey is extremely knowledgeable, detail oriented and has a unique way of teaching and explaining techniques. He incorporates a lot of situational training and games which makes the class fun and useful for students on all levels. I have been training here for about 9 months and do not see myself going to any other gym!”

“Fantastic gym to train at. Showed up without any prior martial arts or BJJ experience, and the entire gym was very welcoming to newcomers. Have been going 9 months now and can't picture going anywhere else, Korey is a very high level practitioner and a great instructor, makes learning jiu jitsu a great experience. Whether you are just getting started in your journey or you are experienced and looking for a new gym, this is the place to be.”

“Been training for about a year, with no prior experience. I love it here. The people, the instruction, the vibe is just so good. I’m always looking forward to training. Coach Korey is not only high level jiu jitsu athlete himself, he’s also an incredible instructor. I’m always asking questions, and he consistently gives clear and helpful tips. Korey also offers competition training, if you’re planning on taking jiu jitsu seriously. If you’re curious about getting into bjj, this is the place.”
