“I had my first session at Definitive Jiu-Jitsu last week, and it was absolutely fantastic. The instruction was top-notch—clear, technical, and focused on practical application. The class had a great vibe, with a friendly and diverse group of training partners, including a good mix of guys and girls. The facilities were impressive, with clean, spacious training areas and high-quality mats that made rolling comfortable and safe. Whether you’re a complete beginner or an experienced grappler, this is the kind of place that makes you feel welcome and eager to learn.”
“Definitive Jiu Jitsu is a fantastic place to train. The gym is super clean, and the people are friendly! Whether you are a high level competitor, beginner student, or looking to get your kids training Jiu Jitsu, this is the gym you need to be at in Seattle. The coaches take the time to develop their students with high quality skills in a efficient training environment. This is not the case at every school so I would recommend training here 100%.”
“Definitive is a great space to learn BJJ from knowledgeable and experienced instructors. They have world class competitors but also offer a safe and productive environment for new comers. The training partners are friendly and helpful.”
“Definitive Death Squad This academy is top notch for all levels. I've found that the instructors offer clear guidance on the most cutting edge techniques found in instructional a la Craig Jones and Józef Chen, or at least that's what we covered so far. Again, all levels are welcomed and can have productive training here. I've personally seen brand new white belts become sufficient enough in their game to flow roll (some stand up wrestling) in the short time. On the other hand, I've seen hungry competitors sharpen their game right before their competition the next day. It seems many of the higher belt athletes here compete on a state and national level. Don't pass this opportunity up to train with the Duck. DDS of the NW if you know you know. OSS”
