“My 7 year old son LOVES this class. We go as often as we can and there is always extra help so every child gets the attention they need. The teachers make a point to know each child by name and addresses them directly. Always great music and positivity. The adult class gladly helps the younger kids if needed. They are teaching real Jujitsu and life skills. My son is learning patience and how to control himself against smaller opponents. I'm very grateful we have found such an amazing couple teaching such a unique form of self discipline to all ages. I would absolutely recommend giving it a try”

“This is one of the best. They have extremely nice people and you go there to learn. And you will never be put down if you get something wrong and it's a good environment for. Kids and adults. I would definitely suggest it.... Before they came to dequeen to teach I had never even heard of jiu jitsu and now I'm with one of the best gym family's I could find and so I really suggest. It and yes everybodys growth is different you grow at your own pace. But the good thing is that they work with anyone and it is a sport for everyone. And I definitely recommend enrolling. Your children or even enrolling yourself in it. And it's not a mandatory sport but even if you just come and watch a few classes you'll see how great they are !!”

“As a mom with a 6 year old boy and 8 year old girl, we started the class when dequeen bjj opened on day 1. From day 1 we fell in love with everything (class, people, coaches, the environment, music, the rules of no bullying tolerance in or out of class). My kids goes every time the doors are open unless they are sick. They beg to go to open mat days instead of laying around the house like they used to. I ended up having to take a few months off due to my EMS work schedule and school full time. But I'm going to return as soon asap. I would rate this place a 10 star if I could!
