“Phenomenal Experience at Double 5 Brazilian Jiu Jitsu My 13-year-old son and 12-year-old daughter have been training at Double 5 Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for the past five months, and I couldn’t be more impressed. Professor Ismael Aoki is fantastic—by far the most patient and considerate instructor we have come across. His approach to teaching is top-notch, and the level of care he gives to each student is unparalleled. The coaching team, including Chuck, Freddie, Ian, and Mark, is equally outstanding. My daughter was initially hesitant to participate, but now she’s the first one ready to go to class! My son recently competed in the Southwest Classic competition and took home the gold medal in first place. While I’m not saying everyone will win a gold medal, I can confidently say that the quality of training and support at this gym is exceptional. In addition to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, they offer Muay Thai by the Cyclone WBC heavyweight champion and MMA training by a professional MMA fighter. I highly recommend Double 5 for anyone looking for serious BJJ training, Muay Thai or mixed martial arts in Arizona. This place is top-notch!”
