“I can’t say enough nice things about this gym. All instructors and coaches are friendly, welcoming, and knowledgable. It’s never easy being the new guy at a martial arts gym and these folks made me feel very comfortable from day one. This gym is clean, stylish, and has great amenities. If you were thinking about joining a BJJ and strength gym look no further. Stop reading this review and just come see for yourself.”

“I stopped in for a class while being in town for the weekend and everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. Sean gave me a tour around the facility and gave me a heartfelt background of the reason that he and his co-owners opened up the parlor. Vince taught a thorough and engaging class and I felt comfortable as a white belt even though it was an advanced class. Afterward I met Zane and he continued the hospitality and also made me feel welcome. I would love to drop in for a class anytime I’m in Austin again and fully encourage anyone to give EAJJP a visit and also sign up if you’re local.”

“East Austin JJP is a world class facility! I love this place! The BJJ instructors/coaches are excellent and I have had such a great time learning new things in class and meeting the friendly teammates. Everyone is there to learn and have fun and the coaches facilitate really well structured classes that allow us to learn new drills, test them in a safe, controlled environment and have great live rolls. The S&C program is also top notch! Sean is a wizard when it comes to instructing and helping us students on how to grow stronger and prevent injury. I learn something new from him every class. The space is beautiful, HUGE mat space, fully stacked gym, clean showers and dressing rooms, a freaking spacious sauna - the space has everything I could ever ask for in a training facility. I'm so happy I found EABJJ and look forward to seeing all the awesome things the team will achieve! Thanks for curating this space for us!”

“I started strength and conditioning at EAJJP just 2024, just a couple of months after my back gave out. I was still rehabbing when I began, and by the end of my first week, my back pain was completely gone! Sean, the coach, is incredibly knowledgeable and provides personalized guidance to make sure you're performing exercises correctly. Since I started, I've seen a huge improvement in my body mass, mechanics, and even my running form and pace. The gym itself has a fantastic atmosphere — it’s a safe, welcoming space with great people who are always encouraging. I couldn't be happier with my experience!”

“This is a beautiful and well put together jiujitsu studio. Not only plenty of floor space, but there are multiple bathrooms, changing rooms, a sauna, and showers! They have lifting and strength training downstairs as well as physical therapy massage room. Coffee on tap and hosting watching UFCU fight nights from time to time for their students and friends.. The staff at the front are friendly and courteous. I am not sure about their prices as I was there as a guest for the 15 Year Anniversary Semknar for Girls and Gis, which they graciously hosted at their studio. If ai lived close enough it is definately worth checking out the classes as you can tell the owner , whom I did meet cares about his place and students.”
