“We love it here. My 8 year old, energetic, love to grapple son, thrives here. It’s been such a great experience to help him channel his scrappy energy in a focused and positive way. The coaches are the most attentive I’ve encountered in a kids athletic environment. They are actually paying attention, are kind, but firm and focused on the needs of the individual children. They teach not only competitive Jui jitsu skills and self defense, but good life skills, like discipline, focus, respect, resilience. That said, Jui jitsu is not for everyone. I’ve seen kids cry and leave on their first day. This has little to do with the gym from my perspective. I think Jui jitsu just might not be for them, at the time.”
