“I've been training here for a few years now, and actually originally found them around 2010 because they were the first jiu jitsu school in El Paso with a black belt! I am so glad to call this place home. Everyone is respectful, takes care of each other, and pushes each other to grow in this amazing sport. I started my daughter in the kids classes as well and she LOVES it, it has given her so much confidence and she loves the sport aspect of it. A clean facility, with absolutely BRILLIANT instructors who all bring something incredible to their teaching. My home away from home these days, I cannot say enough great things about Alliance El Paso!”

“I trained at Alliance in El Paso for two years and earned my blue from Tatsuo Goya. Prior to this I had about a year and a half experience at an American Top Team Affilliate in Watertown, NY. I also did extended travel for work so have dropped into a lot of gyms. This gym is definitely legitimate and highly recommended . They have experienced instructors, judo is mixed into the curriculum, they have some fresher black belts that are all about the current meta of the sport. They do extremely well in competition. I moved out of the area and still train but moving to new gyms I definitely brought a skillset with me and I completely credit this school with that. Great Coaches, great students, and also a great legacy as the school has some history. I am very proud to have trained here and to have it be apart of my lineage. How could I not give it 5 stars?”

“I visited on travel to El Paso. This gym is welcoming, clean, and spacious. They have several knowledgeable black belts instructing. The students are respectful but ready to give you a tough round. Highly recommend!”

“I recently had the pleasure of training at Alliance JJ El Paso for a week, and I can wholeheartedly say that it was an experience that exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I stepped onto the mats, I was welcomed with open arms by both the students and instructors. There was a high sense of community and camaraderie; everyone is genuinely friendly and eager to help each other improve—this laid a fantastic foundation for my training experience. The quality of instruction is top-notch. The head instructor, Master Tatsuo, has a wealth of knowledge and experience, and it is evident that he’s deeply passionate about sharing his expertise. Each class was thoughtfully structured, integrating fundamental techniques with advanced concepts that kept everyone engaged, regardless of skill level. I appreciated the variety of classes offered throughout the week, from fundamental techniques to more specialized classes focusing on areas like gi and no-gi submissions, positional sparring, and live rolling. Each class was not only instructional but also enjoyable. The atmosphere was energetic, encouraging, and respectful, making it a safe space for practitioners of all levels. Furthermore, Alliance Bjj also fosters a culture of respect and support. I noticed that even during sparring sessions, the focus was on mutual learning rather than aggression. There was an emphasis on tapping out gracefully and helping each other grow, which made for a positive and productive training environment. In conclusion, my week at here was enriching in more ways than one. I am incredibly grateful for the warm welcome and the invaluable skills I acquired during my time here. Whether you're a seasoned practitioner or a complete beginner, I cannot recommend Alliance El Paso highly enough. Thank you Master Tatsuo and his phenomenal team, for an unforgettable training experience! I look forward to returning in the near future!”

“Brought my nephew for the first time and he absolutely loved it. We were very hesitant of letting him join due to Covid-19 but after visiting the facility and seeing how they are handling sanitation we felt some relief. I witnessed the mats being disinfected before and after classes. Student temperature is taken at the front door and then they proceed to disinfect their hands and feet before getting on the mats. Thank you coach Danny and staff for being so kind and helpful . We will definitely be coming back!”
