“We enrolled our daughter in Jiu Jitsu when she turned 5 years old. We wanted her to have all of the benefits that come with the experience: Discipline, Physical Activity, Self Confidence, Focus, Self Defense, and Community, among others. At first, she took to it entirely. Seeing her participating with a huge smile made our hearts sing. But slowly, something changed. She started to express resistance to going. The way Fabricio teaches is fun, engaging, and still provides an amazing base for the technical skills needed for Jiu Jitsu.
