“My 8 and 10 year old started 4 months ago at Elite Force, embarrassingly it was after my son watched Cobra Kai and decided he wanted to do BJJ. I was hesitant at first but it has been wonderful for both of my kids. They go 4 days a week and get upset when they have to miss a day. Aside from being a world class competitor Pulga has a unique way of bonding with the kids and making each one feel part of the BJJ family. (The kids nicknames are hysterical) He understands each child’s strengths and weaknesses and spends time building on strengths and talking about the weaknesses. My daughter was struggling with front rolls and wanted to quit because she was embarrassed she couldn’t get it down. Pulga took extra time in class to work on the rolls and commended her for sticking with it. What happens in the class matters but he stresses behavior outside the classroom is just as important. You can go 1 day a week or 4, it’s entirely up to you and what works for your family.”

“I've been a martial artist for over 50 years. Started BJJ at Elite Force about 3 years ago. This dojo is super awesome. The staff is excellent. They really care about each student and want them to succeed. I highly recommend Elite Force BJJ. You will not be disappointed.”

“Never trained jujitsu before but was always interested. One morning my friend who goes here invited me to try it out. When I walked through the doors I was immediately greeted with a warm welcome by Prof Pulga, and Prof Greg and a bunch of men that trained there. The people that go to this gym are great people. Hard working, competitive, passionate and very technical. As a new white belt I’m thankful that everyone has taken the time to teach me what they know. Even when I don’t understand something they all will patiently sit with me until I figure it out. I have only been there 3 months but I feel like I have a new family. The gym is very clean and respect is the norm. Think I found a new passion for the rest of my life. 10/10 gym”

“I suffered a C4 spinal cord injury 5 years ago and fought hard to regain my independence as a quadriplegic. This spring I was treated for cancer and gained a lot of weight. I was looking for a group class of sorts to help me regain my fitness. A friend who was a highly ranked BJJ grappler recommended Pulga's academy. They were open to meeting me and assessing my abilities. Neil has spent extra time stretching me, getting me to a point where i can work in with others, and showing me innovative ways of incorporating BJJ movements. In less than 2 months, my movement and flexibility has increased exponentially. This increase has profound impact on my daily life. The gains I am making exceeds what physical therapy could ever give me. Pulga's academy is more than teaching grappling. It is a place to learn skills, movement, and mental fitness; to benefit your best life.”

“My son has been training with instructor Pulga for 4 months, and we couldn't be happier! Pulga is an exceptional Jiu Jitsu instructor, especially when it comes to working with children. Classes are engaging, fun, and challenging, keeping the kids motivated and excited.”
