Everyone that trains here are truly family, they will push you and support you. John and Jake bleed bjj. They won’t just say here’s a technique go do it and leave you wondering why (like I’ve heard from other schools). They engrain in the fundamentals class that x move is important because you can use it from here, and here, and here… They teach you the core concepts that apply to all of bjj, not just a handful of movements to memorize. If you got your blue belt from Renner’s online Gracie Jiu Jitsu University… you should probably not wear it here. The head instructor is the real deal and his game runs deep…but the students who train here are also 11/10.
