“My boys train at Fellowship with their Homeschool Jiu Jitsu class. I love that they provide the same level of training for homeschoolers as they do for the evening classes. My boys have skyrocketed in their confidence and strength- strength they never knew they even had. I love that the Coaches make the earn their belts through abilities but also are sure to keep talk positive so as to not diminish their spirits when trying.”

“I’ve been training here for over 1 year. When I started I was completely new to BJJ. Werther and Chelsea make all newcomers and seasoned veterans feel welcome. Instruction is detailed, thorough and helpful. The focus on applying BJJ not just to competition but also to real life scenarios and self-defense is valuable to me. We work hard, but honestly feels like play the entire time! There’s also a full time women’s and children classes so everybody can participate and get better. I highly recommend for folks interested in exploring BJJ this academy!”

I spent a week training there on a visit to Sarasota and enjoyed the environment that Coach Werther has created. “The coaches are really nice. Coach Werther specifically is firm but incredibly kind. The knowledge of the staff as a whole is amazing. I have a hard time with just a few children, and they coach dozens of them through a difficult and challenging martial art. I wanted my son to be more active and engaged with other children and something physical since he is homeschooled. With the number of classes that are available and different times that are available, this gym is incredible at accommodating lifestyle schedules and different needs of families. Could not imagine a better hobby and passion for my son, and the team at fellowship is everything I could ask for in coaches and martial arts role models. My son loves coming as much as he can and we both hope to have a long road with fellowship.”
