“The first time I entered the gym, I was welcomed by one of black belts and made to feel part of the group instantly. The class consisted of self-defense, the technique of the day, and then a time of rolling. Everyone was very friendly. No one was trying to hurt me during the rolls. Everyone was respectful. After class people came up to talk to me, again making me feel a part of the group. This made me want to go back. The second time I went the class was much bigger. I thought I would be lost in the crowd. As I was standing there waiting to get on the mat, a guy came and shook my hand and welcomed me onto the mat. There were 10 black belts there that night, and every one of them came up to me, shook my hand, and introduced themselves. Again, I was very impressed. The class was structured the same way as the first time I was there. I highly recommend this gym. The instructors are very knowledgeable in this wonderful art and relay the techniques in a way that is easy to understand, and if you still don’t get it, they are ready to take the time to help. You will learn solid jiu jitsu in a safe and friendly environment. You won’t be disappointed.”
