“I can't say enough good things about First Coast Jiu jitsu. Started with a school flyer and both my 5 year old and 8 year old wanted to take lessons. Brian is patient and kind yet firm with his classes and always keeps his students focused. Both of my children learned so many good strategies about dealing with bullying but were also taught key values like being confident, holding eye contact, etc. So many valuable life lessons in every class. Fast forward a couple months and I enrolled in his SAFE program for women! I started out pretty pitiful but with his guidance and patient teaching style, I have learned so many techniques on how to not only prevent an encounter from happening but also how to get control of the attack and even crack some bones while getting away. Brian is patient and so passionate about his teachings! I always look forward to class day and feel confident in myself if I ever need to pull out these moves!
