First Order of Jiu-Jitsu

“I have been coming here since 2019, when I had no prior experience with my two siblings in the adult class. It is such a welcoming environment where everyone is always eager to help you out with a new move and spar. Tarzan is an amazing teacher who will go step by step with the move, give explanations along the way to explain why the move is done that way, and engages us each class by letting us ask questions and even asking us questions as well. He always makes sure to come around to answer questions, give advice, and never hesitates to go over the move again to ensure that everyone understands it. I was able to train for a year before COVID and even than Tarzan did his best with facilitating learning by doing jiu jitsu through Zoom. I myself after 3 years was able to come back to train October 2023 and they made the transition to training again wonderful. I don't think I would have ever learned jiu jitsu or continue to train if it wasn't here.”
