“My family and I planned a trip to visit the Smokies in June 2022. I emailed the academy in April 2022 to inquire about letting my 10-year-old son train while we were in TN. Professor Jerry responded immediately that they would love to host my son while visiting. When we first arrived to the school, I was very impressed with how welcoming everyone was. Coach Christian walked over to us and introduced himself, and took my son to the mat where the other kids were. After my son finished the kids' class, Professor Jerry welcomed my son to stay for the adults class, where my son trained/rolled with another 13-year-old student. My son asked if we could plan another trip to TN just so he could come back to this school. As a parent, that speaks volumes.
