“Can't recommend Foster jiujitsu enough! I was traveling through Seattle on a trip from Canada, Professor Foster and his team welcomed me in with open arms. I had a great time and great rolls, training for a morning with his team. Professor Foster, is a very kind person and a fantastic teacher, if you're thinking about going to get some training or join with him, do it! Fantastic gym!”

“I don’t even know where to start. Jiu-Jitsu is such a unique brother hood. As one of the cornerstones of MMA it requires sparring. Sparring is unique especially when you get to do it with people whom you have never met (and not in a competition setting). James’s place didn’t disappoint. The rolls I had there were nothing short of awesome. It’s also super unique that an accomplished athlete such as James to even roll with drop in athletes!!! In the short hour and a half that I was there I felt like I found a family for myself on the southern Seattle seaboard!”

“Amazing people, amazing classes, and just a great place whether you're looking for something fun or something for your health both physically and mentally. I've been a student and friend of foster both the man and his amazing school for about 15 years now and have seen all kinds of amazing people come and go over the years and have never had a bad experience. The whole school is devoted to making everyone of any age feel safe and encouraged while pushing you to meet your individual goals. I truly can't say enough good things about this place or its members it's something you have to experience to truly appreciate.”

“James is one of a kind! You wont find anyone else like him! He is a phenomenal teacher and athlete. Leads by example and makes you feel like a winner every step of the way. If you want to get to the next level, this is the place. If you got the time and money then give it a go you won’t be disappointed. Also big shout out to Amy! She’s very communicative and kind!”

“Excellent instruction and good vibes! Did a drop in for no gi and had a lot of fun. People were friendly, training was chill, and mat space is quite large. Katie taught techniques I was familiar with, but with really cool details I haven’t seen before. I’m a smaller grappler, and these little details make the difference between a technique working and not working, especially against a larger training partner. Was super excited to take home some new skills I can add to my game immediately. Thanks for the rolls, I’ll be back soon!”
