“In town for a conference, and needed a place to train and workout. Never dropped into another academy, so I was very nervous and anxious. Called Larry on the phone and was given a warm welcome to stop by and train. Stopped by for their 5:30pm adult BJJ class which was proceeded by their kids class. You know it’s going to be amazing when you have a swarm of happy and excited kids. When Larry showed up, the kids gave swarmed him and gave him hugs and high fives. 🤩 Clear and concise instructions by coach Larry, he was patient, funny and unpretentious. Down to earth and amazing happy vibes all around. Every academy should strive to be like this place. The members are warm, welcoming and patient with my newbie white belt self. No one was grinding for a submission, and just rolling to be better. I felt safe and learned a lot! Out of town travelers, Be aware the Florida humidity is rough. 90min will feel longer , this is why their members are all beast modes. Remember to hydrate! Highly recommended, and the hype is real! Don’t cheat your self and give this place a shot!”

“I stopped in to FOYA while in town for work. I travel extensively for work and I’ve stopped in to well over 30 schools over the last couple of years while on the road. I have to say that FOYA was easily one of the most fun places I’ve trained. Everyone was incredibly respectful and welcoming from the moment I walked in the door. Training was so much fun, and coach Larry led a great class filled with drills and competitive rolling while always keeping the atmosphere friendly, respectful, and down right fun. I highly recommend this gym for all belt ranks. I’m a brown belt and I’ve been training for over ten years. I learned a couple cool details while in class, watched coach Larry explain the fundamentals to his newer students, and enjoyed every minute of being in class.
