“Enrolling our 11 and 8-year-old children in this jiu-jitsu program turned out to be a disastrous decision. Initially, we were reassured by the seemingly safe environment, but the reality quickly proved otherwise. From the outset, it was assumed our kids had extensive jiu-jitsu experience, leading to them being overlooked for necessary guidance and support, while other newcomers received proper attention. Despite being promised uniforms (GIs) at the beginning, it took three weeks for the coaches to finally provide one. My older son was given a shabby, used GI, with the coach insisting on charging $40 for it. Shortly after, my younger son received a new GI, a rash guard, and shorts, for which I was outrageously charged $240 without any prior notification. Throughout their time in the class, our children were neglected while the coaches blatantly played favorites, offering proper training and protective advice only to select kids. This neglect resulted in my older son sustaining an injury that caused him pain for three days. This was the final straw, prompting us to cancel the membership. Upon notifying the staff about the cancellation, we were met with a claim that a 30-day notice was required. Consequently, they charged us for the entire month of June, even though my kids' last class was on May 9. This establishment is unsafe, unprofessional, and untrustworthy, especially if your child isn't one of the favored few. Avoid at all costs.”

“Free World Jiu Jitsu has been nothing but the best for our family’s experience. Our three sons (ages 11, 9, and 6) have gained technique, discipline and character from Professors Jordan and Tracey. The family environment enhances competition amongst teammates and unity when enjoying life or competing outside of the gym.
