“When I started my BJJ journey here in 2017, I was immediately impressed by the level of skill, patience, and care for safety that Professor Edmunds demonstrated with his students in every class I attended. Eddie had clearly developed those values and distilled them into a culture of excellence. For a number of reasons, I eventually had to pause my training, and was unable to attend for a long period of time. Things have changed recently and I have had the opportunity to continue my BJJ journey. Where to go was a no brainer. It’s still the place it was many years ago, perhaps even better. It still feels like home. I am humbled by the integrity of my peers, most of whom are new faces to me. There’s no other place I’d rather train more. If you are on the fence as to whether or not you should come train, I invite you to see why I think so highly of Fusion Academy. You won’t be disappointed.”

“I go here as a young student and I have to say the people are amazing and the facility is wonderful, I have learned so much especially from my coach Dan who is one of many great coaches, would definitely recommend for younger people and kids!”

“I wa in town on the way back from a hunting trip staying an extra night in salt lake to watch the university of oregon vs Utah game. I wanted to get some rolls in since it had been a minute and I always jump at the chance to train with some new people. I called in and showed up maybe 20 minutes before their nogi class with Travis. Professor edmunds corresponded with me about my visit and let Travis know I was coming. The whole class was informative and everyone was extremely welcoming. I would highly recommend any visitors or folks looking to train jiu jitsu while in SLC, go check out Fusion!!”

“Everyone’s friendly! I’m a total newbie with zero experience and I had a great time even as a girl! It’s a good workout! Highly recommend! They teach you basics and techniques in each session. Clean facilities.”

“I was at fusion over the summer while I was in SLC for work. Matt and Eddie are incredibly knowledgeable and passionate. They welcomed me in without a problem. The people who I trained with all were good people - everyone checked their ego at the door and was there to get better at jiu jitsu. I’d definitely recommend .”
