“I'm brand new to Muay Thai but was looking for a place to learn. I came across Fusion Academy and was very interested in their Thai Boxing Fundamentals program. Signed up for the free 10-day trial... 3 classes later, I officially signed up for the Fundamentals program. The instructors are all awesome. They break everything down and do a great job of making sure everyone of all levels feel welcome and safe. Fellow students are also super welcoming and more than happy to work with the beginners. Everything about the program and environment are well thought out, and I can't wait as I progress through the Fundamentals program!”
“I did a self defense class here and the instructors are amazing! I will definitely be coming back for more lessons!! Highly recommend!”
“Five Stars all the way. There are too many good things to say! I did the jiu jitsu classes for almost two years before I had to move across county. The culture is great, everyone makes it point to learn your name and get to know you. They take lessons at your pace. If you can only make it once week and learning is slow, it's no problem. If you want to go everyday and roll you can. Master Kim-- Jeff, really makes a huge difference as well. He instructs a variety of other martial arts such as Judo and Kyuki-do. He really is a master of multiple arts and it comes through in the self defense and jiu jitsu classes. He has obviously been teaching for a very long time and knows how to structure a class and explain and demonstrate concepts in understandable way. If you have been rolling for years or its your first time I guarantee you will improve! When I told him I had to relocate across they country, Jeff spent a lot of extra time reviewing and getting me through to my last test, you can tell he very much cares about your progress. They also offer Muay Thai classes and many people would double it up with the jiu jitsu classes-- not something I did but the guys who did do it got a great work out. If you have researched other classes you may think that this school limits you by making you focus on certain set of self-defense skills but I have rolled at A LOT of other gyms since I have left (as a 4 stripe white belt) and it has been extremely easy to transition to other gyms and see that those moves they make you learn are ESSENTIAL! Some schools tend to jump all over the board on skills which can be very confusing for a new student. If you are at all interested in the martial arts or getting a good workout, check out this gym. They really do help you to reach the goals you want even going out of their way to do so.”
