“I started training at Gracie Allegiance Ohio in the fall of 2023. Professor Jason Cable and all the other students have become extended family. Not only does Gracie Allegiance Ohio have a great adult program but also kids and teenagers. Several of us enjoy helping coach the kids and teens. This helps us understand jiu-jitsu better by having to be able to convey the lessons being taught by Professor Cable. Professor Cable also mentors higher ranking students and challenges them to teach classes. As an academy we encourage each other to compete and help one another prepare for upcoming tournaments. It is never too late to start. I started at the age of 49 and will be forever grateful to Professor Cable and my Gracie Allegiance Ohio family for always encouraging me and each other.”
